Designed for high-speed application to a variety of documents, OpSec holographic stamping foils are supplied in wallpaper, reg istered patch or continuous stripe form and manufactured to conform to the stringent requirements of security print industry.

Laser Resistant Foil

OpSec chemists have developed holographic stamping foils in different formulations to meet specific requirements, including laser resistant foil for subsequent personalisation of documents.

Flexible Substrates
OpSec supplies foil with a range of adhesives for superb performance on most substrates including cellulose and thermal papers, security papers and plastics. Images can be fully metallised or selectively de-metallised to register in both the machine and the transverse direction. In addition foils can be supplied with a choice of finish including: Aluminium; Copper; Zinc Sulphide (Transparent) high refractive index coating. Slit and wound to customer's requirements, OpSec's high security holographic hot and cold stamping foils are suitable for use on all types of application machinery currently used in the security printing industry.

1800 Colour Switch

Design Features:

OpSec's patented reflective OVD exhibits a dramatic kinetic "black and white" image switch (unlike traditional "rainbow" diffractive OVDs) providing strong overt security, while maintaining a simple visual authentication feature.

Micro Text:
150 microns roundel vector Micro text reading 'Secure'.

90 Two Channel Switch:

A clear two channel diffractive switch, alternating from 'SECURE' to 'VALID' when the foil is turned 90.

180 Colour Switch:

A strong visual colour switch effect as hologram is rotated 180. High precision fringes provide a strong public feature seen in even adverse lighting conditions.

CLR:
lnfill areas of the foil and background contains embedded CLR (Covert Laser Readable) information which can only be seen by interrogating the label using a laser reading device.

Hoxel Shapes:
Using ultra-high precision control, uniquely shaped hoxels are micro-positioned to optimise the optical effect and provide an image that has a highly complex forensic fingerprint that is easy to recognise by simple magnification.
