Youth Fellowship Foundations: The Story of His life We really want to unpack some of the big questions about life, the universe and who we are, so over the next few weeks we are going to be looking at the book of Mark and the story of Jesus life to see if we can find some of the answers. Come along to understand more about identity, mission and why Jesus is so important to us all. th th The Mark Challenge: 8 28 February As we are looking at the book of Mark during YF we thought it would be a good idea to challenge you to read the whole of Mark in 21 days. Some of the leaders will be posting a few thoughts on the SBC Youth Facebook page on the different sections as you read through it. Starting on the 8th February, we will be giving out more information and challenge cards soon, so watch this space for more information. SBC Youth Weekend Away: Friday 14th Sunday 16th March Is it already that time of year again?! This year we are heading to Gartmore House and have Tara Devlin from Tearfund as our guest speaker. So with games, friends, food, teaching and fun why would you not want to come? More information and forms will be available soon, but make sure you all pop the date in your diaries now. SBC Mission Focus: Human Trafficking How does this affect me? Some of you may know that SBC has decided to have a mission focus for the whole church and we really want to get the youth involved in this. So over the next few months, we will be having a few special events and time to help you to know more about what is going on and what you can do to help. If you want any more information have a chat with Lisa McKee and she will be able to help. PowerPoint Friday 7th & Saturday 8th February #Follow2Lead PowerPoint is back for 2014! One Life will be heading it up this time round and with the PowerPoint worship band and with hundreds of other young people these events are always great. Again there will be an Edinburgh and Glasgow event; we will be heading to one of the dates so let us know which evening suits you better.
