e-WOOF is a bi-monthly

e-newsletter produced by a small group of Wyoming dog rescuers in an effort to highlight shelter dogs in critical need of help.

She is gorgeous and likes to play. Ramsey has a zest for life and is ready at a moments notice to do something fun, like play fetch with a ball, go for a jog or run, or go for walk. She is hoping a new family will adopt her and give her the home she is waiting to have. BLONDIE is a Chow/German Shepherd mix, 9 years young.
Blondie is not only beautiful, but she is friendly, sweet, and full of life. Dont let her age fool you - she as spry and agile as the youngsters are. She has always been calm and quiet, and enjoys a walk. In fact, Blondie walks right along and keeps up with the best of walkers. She has very agile, fluid movements and moves easily. Blondie would love to have a second chance in life and hopes she will find a forever home where she will be loved for who she is.

e-WOOF spotlights many dogs that face euthanasia within days unless they are rescued, fostered, or adopted.
Transport can be arranged, in most cases, to approved adoptive or foster homes or rescue organizations. Please help us! These are good, healthy, happy, loving dogs that are out of luck and out of time. She came to us because her owners were moving and could not take her with them. She was raised around children and she would be a wonderful family dog. She would do best in a home as the only pet. She is a very affectionate and sweet girl who loves everyone! SKILLET is a 6-year-old Red Nose Pit. He is a giant baby who thinks he is a lap dog. He loves to go for walks and he loves to cuddle. He would be best in a home without cats or other dogs.
Scooby has been with us for 3 years now, and is still looking for his forever home. He can be a little intimidating while he is in his cage, but once he is out of the cage he is a different dog. He takes a little bit to get used to new people, but if you take him for a walk and give him a treat he will be your best friend. He needs to be in a home without small children or cats, but does get along well with most other dogs. He also needs to be in a home where his owner will be an Alpha SCOOBY personality. ____________

BOZEMAN is a large and quite handsome four-year-old red Chow

Chow mix. He showed no interest in toys when we photographed him but the poor boy spent all his life on a chain with no attention, so he might learn to play in his new home. He was very shy when we got him but has relaxed nicely. He loves going for walks and the dog walkers report he walks very nicely on leash. Bozeman is completely housetrained and gets along with most other dogs. Hes looking for a home where he can have a great life and forget his early years.

Sheridan, WY Contact: ewoof@wyoming.com BLAZE is a two-year-old Border Collie. Like a typical border collie, he is very active and enjoys playing, and will need a family who is also active and keeps him busy. He was very nervous when he came in, and is still tentative about new places and people. We couldnt get him to play when we took his photos, but he will play with staff members. He might have been a ranch dog and never socialized. He will need patient people willing to help him come out of his shell, and a fenced yard. He is good with some dogs, usually those that are his size, but not with cats. Blaze is partially housebroken.

COOL Dog Fact from Petfinder

Is it a duckor a dog? The Newfoundland breed has a water resistant coat and webbed feet. This dog was bred to help haul nets for fishermen and rescuing people at risk of drowning.
