The Americano: A New Site for American Hispanics with a New Take on News and Opinion

Gingrich Communications launches a bilingual site for American Hispanics with a different take on news
and opinion. The site, called The Americano, looks to offer a more balanced view on all the issues that
concern American Hispanics today. It is a place where people can express themselves and read about
similar traditional principles.

The site is inclusive of all americanos that have come to live in the United States, thus the name.
"Whether you are first, second, third or fourth generation American Hispanic - or whether you speak
English or Spanish or both -our content is catered to what unites us all, which is our American Hispanic
Heritage," explains Sylvia Garcia, Editor in Chief of The Americano and Hispanic Outreach Director for
Newt Gingrich. "We offer content as diverse as our culture by covering health, education, government,
politics, international issues, and even sports."

Some of the most unique pieces are categorized under Hispanic Heritage. These are all articles which
link U.S. history to true conservative American Hispanic values. "Hispanic Heritage is as rich today in the
United States, as it was back in the 1850s when the first bilingual newspapers were printed," states
Newt Gingrich. "We think The Americano will provide a much needed traditional values viewpoint that
will honor that heritage."

The goal was to create the first Hispanic news and opinion site where content was hand-picked to create
a grassroots Latino base, geared towards traditional values. "Our contributors are prestigious individuals
in both academia and the media," explained Alberto Acereda, Content Director. "The Americano's
writers include several journalists, scholars and experts in our American culture and its Hispanic
heritage."

The site officially launches today as the country celebrates Hispanic Heritage month. The Americano's
goal is to commemorate the rich tradition American Hispanics have brought to the United States and
strives to create a direct link between history and conservative Hispanic values. We invite you to visit
