Dear David

I met with Primrose Lane Primary School yesterday to check the final stages of the work to ensure they can
open as planned and everything was under control and it was clear that all the necessary items were being
covered or already in place to confirm completion of this work. The school reported the following
complimentary views which I should like to pass on –

• Paul MacKenzie, your site agent, has been excellent throughout the works. He has kept the school
informed, happily answered their queries and even been able to organise additional works for them
whilst still maintaining progress on the main works. They found Paul to be a good communicator,
always helpful and flexible, and they were pleased to witness how he actively project manages the
workforce to ensure a quality finish, good workmanship and keep the work progressing.

• They also commented on the quality of the joiners work on site as well as the way the Hobson &
Porter workforce in general conducted themselves.

• They found Ben Addison Ltd, your electrical sub-contractor, to be very approachable and happy to
discuss any aspect of the work. It was also noted that his workforce was always polite, helpful and
hardworking. Ben's "can-do" attitude to resolve minor matters arising was welcomed and they
marvelled at his teams' high standard of workmanship (this was clearly evident when compared to
other electrical contractors work which although acceptable did not meet the same high standard of
finish). Ben's flexibility in working with the school to gain the best solution for all parties was also
noted.

Whilst I fully concur with the above evaluation, I would also like to pass on my thanks to the entire team,
including yourself, for the effective scheduling of works, the pro-active management approach throughout to
ensure achievement within the tight timescale, and the calm and efficient manner in which the scheme has
been delivered via a real teamwork approach. It is a pleasure to work with Hobson & Porter in delivering yet
another successful project to add to the other 20 schemes you have already completed to a similar high
standard.
