OncewedecidedtohavetheLindberghKidnappingasourtopic,weimmediatelysteppedinto ourresearch.First,welookedintoourlocallibrarytofindanybooksonourtopic,andthenhitthe booksreadingfourintheirentirety.Oncewefinishedreadingourbooks,foranyunansweredquestions wehadabouttheinvestigation,trial,orexecutionwecompletedadditionalresearchontheinternet. Afterfinishingwithdocumentsandarticleswefoundontheinternet,welookeddeeperandfound imagesoftheoriginalletterofransomfoundatthecrimescenein1932.

    Afterafewdaysofdiscussingeachpresentationcategoryandwhatwefeltwouldbethebest displayforourtopic.Wedecidedawebsitewouldbethebestchoiceforourpresentation.Weliveina verytechnologicallyadvancedworldtoday,andtechnologyenhancesdifferentaspectsofourproject. Forexample,ourwebsiteincludesaslideshowofpicturesaswellasmediaclips,wewouldnothave beenabletoincludetheseaspectswithouttechnology.Tocreateourprojectweeditedourwebsite basepagebypage.Wedesignedourpagescarefullytoaccentuatethefeatures.Wedecidedtogowith awhitebaseforthewebsite,soitiseasiertounderstandthetextandseethevisuals.

    RelatingourtopictheNHDtheme,RightsandResponsibilities,wasnotadifficulttask.There werebothrightsandresponsibilitiesinvolvedwiththeLindberghKidnapping.Onceaccusedand arrestedforthekidnappingofCharlesLindberghJr.hehadtherighttoatrial.Howeverahuge responsibilitylaiduponhimaswellastheUnitedStatesgovernmentHauptmannwasanillegal immigrantrunningawayfromimprisonmentinGermany.IfhehadntcomeillegallytotheUnitedStates, orthecountryhadextensiveimmigrationsecurity,thiscrimeandhisexecutionwouldnothaveoccurred.
