COMPLAINT-AFFIDAVIT I, CASSANDRA BRAGADO, of legal age, Filipino and a resident of Unit 22 Forbeswood, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City, after being sworn in accordance with law, hereby depose and state that: 1. I am filing a complaint against FERDINAND NAVARRO (Vhong for brevity) for ATTEMPTED RAPE, who can be served with summons and notices at No. 20 Assyria St., North Olympus Subd., Novaliches, Quezon City; 2. I first met Vhong at a shoe store in Greenbelt, where he was introduced to me by a common friend, thereafter we became friends; 3. On January 17, 2014, around 10:00 pm , Vhong texted me and asked if he can come over at my unit, and I said yes to him; 4. Vhong arrived at around 10:40 pm; 5. Before Vhong left he told me Sana magkakwentuhan ulit tayo ng ganito, kita na lang tayo ulit ha!, I smiled and said sige, basta magtext ka lang; 6. Vhong left at around 11;45 pm; 7. On January 22, 2014, at approximately 9:00 pm, Vhong, once again, texted me and asked if he can come over because he wanted to bring me some food from his favourite restaurant, and I replied Ok! to him; 8. Vhong arrived at approximately 10:00 pm, and this is evidenced by the logbook of Forbeswood and of the Affidavit of Kerr Meng, the guard who was on duty that night, hereto attached and marked as Annexes A and B, respectively; 9. I went out of my unit to fetch him and help him carry the food he brought but as I was about to get inside the elevator, he was already there so we went inside my unit; 1

10. After we had finished eating the food he brought, we sat on the couch and we talked and cracked jokes; 11. While we were talking, Vhong started to touch my hair and my shoulders, and his mood and actions begun to change; 12. Because I felt something wrong about his actions, I told him E, ayoko yan. Ayoko ng ganyan.; 13. He held my hands, pulled my hair and forced me to lay down on the couch but I fought back and ran to my room; 14. He followed me to my room, and to my surprise, I saw that he was no longer wearing his pants and he was showing me his genitalia; 15. He forced me to lay on the bed and started pulling my short pants; 16. I cried for help while Vhong was on top of me and continuously hurting me for his lewd desires; 17. BERNICE CUA LEE and CEDRIC CUA LEE arrived at my unit and saw what Vhong was doing to me. A copy of their Affidavit is hereto attached and marked as Annexes C and D , respectively; 18. Bernice and Cedric brought me to Dr. Benjamin Goodman of St. Lukes Hospital to get checked for the wounds and bruises that I sustained as a result of the incident. A Copy of the Medical Certificate is hereto attached and marked as Annex E; 19. I, accompanied by Bernice and Cedric, went to the Police District of Taguig City and reported the gruesome incident. A copy of the blotter entry is hereto attached and marked as Annex F; TO THE TRUTH OF THE FOREGOING, I have affixed my signature this 29th day of January, 2014 in Taguig City, Philippines.
