OUTDOOR ACTIVITY REPORT-Bob

Sand Lakes-a permit was obtained for 11 scouts and 4 adult leaders.
Bob to secure a permit for the Green Lake Survival Training outing coming up
September 26. Bob will be sending an email to the troop to remind them to sign
up at the next meeting. Scouts and adult leaders, so we know how many to plan
on.

National Camping Award. As outdoor activities chair it is Bob’s job to promote

the national camping award to encourage participation in outdoor activities. This
is both an annual and a cumulative award that can be earned as a troop, patrol,
or individual. By keeping track of which scouts and how many attend each
overnight camping event, we may qualify for these awards which include ribbons
for our troop flag and special recognition patches. Bob will try to reconstruct the
last year and submit for the awards in January.
