Two port EIU was launched in September 2002 and well received on the market Improvement proposal from customers: HUB functionality EIU with HUB is launched in March 2003 Can be ordered using NC Manual is available in NOLS Master units: DM2, DM2+, DB2, DN2, ACM2 V2 & V5.1

Extensive business study done last autumn: Market situation: Market for traditional fixed telecommunication is not going away Key market requirements: High quality and high availability products continue to be well recognized Product structure: True that we have terminated some products during last years but overall only 650 different items out of 1600 was sold during 2002 Implementation: Replacing End Of Life components, buying EOL components to stock, re-design units, modifications, removals Internal requirements: EOL component follow-up, maintenance work, customer support Risks: EOL components, forecasts give no time to react Conclusion was to extend the Dynanet and PDH life cycle No major ramp-down risks foreseen for active products, evaluation done twice per year March and September. In case of ramp-down decision, notification will be given six months before last order date.
