The DoDEA ET's and IS's Present the Creativity Software Courses Once Again!

The Courses start February 12, 2014. Contact the Instructors below for more information. Their email (with an email link) is beside their course for easy access. Below the list of courses is the course timeline to give you an idea of each course. Each course is one graduate credit. Note: Only 2 courses may be taken.

We are also offering a 2 credit course for advanced computer users looking to integrate more than one technology into instruction. To be eligible for this course you should be able to check off one of the items below. If you: have successfully completed one of the Creativity Software courses are comfortable with technology and learning new technology applications regularly use technology in your classroom with students are comfortable with project based learning

Integrating Multiple Technologies into Learning

The courses are set up in modules so you can quickly check off your accomplishments. It is also set up in weeks to help you plan your time. There are five major parts to the course: 1. Get familiar with BlackBoard and your classmates 2. Learn the software ( you have 3 weeks, this is so you have time to feel comfortable with the software) 3. Examine your content standards and evaluate a sample project 4. Develop a project with your ET and teach it 5. Share your project with your classmates and faculty Week Week 1 Module Module 1: Initial Collaboration with ET (and IS) and e-mail to your instructor (10 pts.) Module 2: Get to know your classmates (10 pts.) Module 3: Overview of the software Module 4: Learn how to use the software. Module 5: Applying what youve learned in a sample project you are the student (25 pts.) Module 6: Examine standards Module 7: Critique sample project from module 5 (25 pts.) Module 8: Review of backward design. Module 9: Develop a project in collaboration with your ET Module 10: Share your project with your virtual classmates. (20 pts.) Module 11: Review others projects and give feedback. (10 pts.) Module 12: Co-teach your project with your ET Module 13: Collect some student work from your project and post to Creativity Software Project website. (10 pts.) Module 14: Share what happened in your project with the virtual group. Include short synopsis and links to student work. (30 pts.) Module 15: Debrief and give feedback on others class projects (10 pts.) Module 16: Share your project with your local colleagues. (10 pts.)
