listed below on a “first come first served” basis on March 26, 2009. Interested parties are invited to

GENERAL GUIDELINES IN THE CONDUCT OF PUBLIC AUCTION

1. Interested parties are requested to secure copies of Bid Forms from the Property and
Procurement Section of SRA–Bacolod.

2. Bids will be received and opened in the presence of the attending bidders or their authorized
representatives at the SRA-Bacolod Training Center on March 26, 2009, 9:00 A.M.

3. Each bid will be accompanied by a proposal DEPOSIT IN CASH or CERTIFIED

CASHIER’S/MANAGER’S CHECK issued in Bacolod City, payable to SRA-Bacolod Office,
in an amount equivalent to at least ten (10%) percent of the total bid price. Failure to
enclose/submit the required proposal deposit in the form and amount prescribed herein shall
automatically disqualify the bid concerned.

4. The SRA shall conduct first, second and third round auction type of bidding to secure
maximum bids in favor of the government.

5. Public auction will be declared a failure if there is only one offeror. (COA Circular No. 89-
296)

6. The winning bidder shall take possession of the property after the bid price is fully paid as
evidenced by an official receipt and the necessary Gate Pass has been duly approved.

7. Properties will be sold on an “AS IS WHERE IS” basis.

8. SRA reserves the right to reject any or all of the tenders.
