Since the beginning of the school year, the third grade class has been blessed by the presence of a Foster Grandparent, Mrs. Cassese. I received sad news that she passed away unexpectedly. Mrs. Cassese loved all her third grade students. She loved coming in daily to spend time with the children. She listened to their joys and concerns, helped them with their studies, and prayed with them daily. She shared her talent for painting with the students and encouraged them.
