RNHA Members Named Top 100 Influential by HispanicBusiness

Lakeland, Florida – The Republican National Hispanic Assembly (RNHA) is proud


to announce National 2nd Vice-Chairman David Olivencia has been recognized by
HispanicBusiness as one of the Top 100 Influential in the corporate category, along
with former National Chairman Pedro Celis in information technology. Upon hearing
of the news, National Chairman Alci Maldonado said, “It’s such a thrill to have
current and former Board members recognized on a National level for their
contributions to their respective categories. The RNHA has always had outstanding
individuals and we couldn’t be more proud. I knew that when we asked David
Olivencia to join our ticket before the recent RNHA National Convention that David
provided impeccable credentials for his candidacy and that he would add to our top
notch leadership team. Our RNHA is very proud of RNHA National 2nd Co-Chairman
Olivencia and former RNHA National Chairman Dr. Celis.”

National 2nd Vice Chairman David Olivencia has mastered strategic planning,
technology optimization, business alignment and finance in several significant
industries, including high-tech, software, automotive, the public sector, insurance
and telecommunications. He is President of the Hispanic IT Executive Council, and
President Emeritus of the Detroit chapter of the National Society of Hispanic MBAs.
He received his undergraduate degree in electrical engineering from Rose-Hulman
Institute of Technology and his MBA from the University of Notre Dame.

Former National Chairman Pedro Celis was born and raised in Monterrey,
Mexico, where he graduated in engineering from Monterrey Institute of
Technology; he earned his Ph.D. at the University of Waterloo in Canada. Dr.
Celis served on President George W. Bush's 25-member President's
Information Technology Advisory Committee. Dr. Celis is a vital member of
the SQL Server group, managing the development of strategy, architecture,
innovation and incubation of the data platform.
