Men Hat

1 skein of Pashmina Worsted
1 16-inch circular needle US 5
1 16-inch circular needle US 7 or size to obtain gauge.
1 stitch marker

Gauge: 19 stitches/4 inches in Stockinette stitch.

This will fit a large size head (24 in)
You may want to cast on less for smaller sizes, maybe 100 for about 22
in. and 90 for 20 in.

Use your favorite Tubular Cast On to cast on 110 stitches. Work in the
round, remember to make sure your stitches are not twisted before you
close your round and place a marker at the beginning of your round.

K1, P1 rib for about 5 inches. (This will give you 2.5 inches folded)
Proceed to stockinette stitch for another 2 inches, and then start crown
decreases.
Rd 1- *K8, K2tog* repeat around
Rd 2- knit
Rd 3- *K7, K2tog*
Rd 4- Knit
Rd 5- *K6, K2tog*
Rd6- Knit
Keep going and decreasing knitting one less stitch each time and
knitting an even round in between.
You should have 11/10/9 stitches left. Break yarn leaving long tail,
thread yarn through remaining live stitches and secure by weaving in
the ends.
