PENDAHULUAN
Dokumen Standard Prestasi bagi mata pela#aran (urikulum Standard Sekolah Rendah )(SSR* dibina sebagai panduan untuk guru menambahbaik Pentaksiran Sekolah se#a#ar dengan pelaksanaan Pentaksiran Ru#ukan Standard$

Pentaksiran Ru#ukan Standard merupakan proses mendapatkan maklumat tentang se#auh mana murid tahu dan boleh buat atau telah menguasai apa yang dipela#ari mengikut tahap+tahap pen!apaian seperti yang dihasratkan oleh kurikulum mata pela#aran ini$

Adalah diharapkan dokumen ini dapat memberi maklumat yang lengkap dan tepat kepada guru tentang hasrat Falsa,ah Pendidikan (ebangsaan yang menekankan tentang pembinaan modal insan yang berteraskan kepada pembangunan #asmani" emosi" rohani" intelek dan sosial$

TAFSIRAN
o Band ialah satu label yang digunakan untuk menun#ukkan tanda aras tertentu yang disusun se!ara hierarki digunakan bagi tu#uan pelaporan indi idu$ Standard ialah satu pernyataan tentang sesuatu domain meru#uk kepada tanda aras tertentu dan bersi,at generik bagi memberi gambaran holistik tentang indi idu$ Standard Prestasi ialah pernyataan tentang tahap perkembangan pembela#aran murid yang diukur berdasarkan standard dan menun#ukkan di mana kedudukan murid dalam perkembangan atau kema#uan pembela#arannya$ Perkembangan dalam standard itu terbahagi kepada dua iaitu perkembangan se!ara mendatar )konstruk* dan perkembangan menegak )band*$ Pertumbuhan murid di#elaskan dengan satu atau lebih qualifier menggunakan perkataan atau rangkai kata yang betul menggambarkan standard dalam bentuk hasil pembela#aran$ Deskript r ialah pernyataan yang menerangkan apa yang murid tahu dan boleh buat berdasarkan standard di mana kualiti boleh ditaksir dan di!apai$ E!idens M"rid Instr"#en

Pernyataan yang menerangkan tentang bagaimana murid melaksanakan apa yang dia tahu dan boleh buat berdasarkan deskriptor$ Bahan atau apa+apa bentuk bukti yang dapat ditun#ukkan oleh murid yang melaksanakan sesuatu tugasan dalam bentuk produk atau proses seperti ,oto" gra,ik" arti,ak" laporan dan lain+lain$
