1. GENERAL
This requisition, together with the references and documents specified below defines the
minimum requirements for design engineering, supply, fabrication, configuration, testing
and installation of the Fire Alarm System which shall be supplied for Coal Handling
Facility – Mutiara Tiga Besar Utara Barat Tahap 1, PT Bukit Asam.

The following items shall be furnished in accordance with the requirements specified in
this requisition, specification, data sheet and other related documents
Fire alarm VENDOR scope of work shall include design, supply of materials, fabrication,
shop test and inspection, painting, marking, packing, works up to FOB, etc. for the
equipment, but not limited to:

5. DOCUMENTATION
The Vendor shall provide the following basic technical information for the proposed
Control System along with Quotation submission:
The following documentations shall be included in Vendor’s Deliverable List, but not
limited to:
a. Functional Specification
b. Fire alarm Regulatory Control (Function Control Narratives)
c. Logic Diagram
d. Hardware and Software Specification
e. Fire alarm Self Documentation (for each Controller)
6. TRAINING
Training shall be provided for all aspects of the Fire alarm including theory of operation,
system architecture, system configuration implementation, maintenance and day to day
operation of the equipment.
Vendor shall be responsible for supplying all equipment, computer terminals and
consumables in a professional learning environment.

Technician training classes shall be carried out at the Vendor’s premises to train
technician personnel with all aspects of the Fire alarm theory, operation and
configuration and logic implementation.
Details of Inspection and Testing requirements shall be in accordance with the following:
The test shall include both specific performance tests for individual hardware and
software modules and integrated system tests to demonstrate that all hardware, standard
software and custom software functions correctly under normal and abnormal conditions.
All point configurations shall be checked by using I/O test panels.
Errors detected during these tests in the system programming and configuring, shall be
listed on a punch list and corrected before the end of the factory acceptance tests.
Vendor shall be required to prove that all foreground functions including on-line data
scanning and control functions consume no more time than specified.
The test shall be conducted by the Vendor with Client’s and/or Purchaser’s
representatives present and the test shall essentially be a repetition of most of the FAT
with a view to ensuring that the system has been installed and functions properly and
complies with the specification. SAT is a part of the overall plant pre-commissioning and
commissioning activities.
