Summer A Migration Update - 3/28/13

The migration team is now fully staffed, and the eLearning Department is increasing course migration to the target level. Therefore our goal of migrating 35 Summer A courses into Canvas will be met by March 31st.

We had another active week of participation from instructors in the training course. By now, many of the instructors have been given access to their migrated course in Canvas, so they can move on in the modules to start getting it ready for the summer. We received great feedback about the Canvas platform and all the features it offers instructors and their students. They are excited to start diving into the platform and use Canvas! Both webinars are now available on our eLearning screencast account at the following links: Instructure Webinar #1: Course Delivery in Canvas- http://www.screencast.com/t/5QBpQLg9 Instructure Webinar #2: Collaboration in Canvas-http://www.screencast.com/t/KBIAGBxM The following webinar was presented to program directors and eLearning staff, and could also prove helpful for more advanced Canvas users: Instructure Webinar for Advanced Canvas Users (topics include: Speedgrader, gradebook, files, groups, assignments, pages, modules, and quizzes): http://www.screencast.com/t/gAgTwBxjt ACCT-130 ACCT-231 ARTS-120 COMM-270 CFDI-450 CRIM-120 CMIT-130 CMIT-135 CMIT-450 DIM-550 ENGL-315 HCMT-520 HCMT-590 HIST-313 MATH-125 MBA-503 MBA-505 MBA-515 MBA-590 MGMT-150 MGMT-210 MGMT-320 MIT-500 MIT-505 MIT-525 MIT-540 MIT-550 SCIE-140 WEBD120 WEBD125
