Marty and Gloria in Rome

In this month of October we enter our third year here in Rome. Our pastoral routine continues and we are thankful to see fruit in various types of growth throughout our group. We trust God is leading our work and uses our challenges.

Autumn 2013

Enjoying visiting a town not far our from our where we had a summer meeting .

Some our young ladies went to a retreat a returned to share a song.

In the earlier part of the summer we were able to have various guest come and share with our church. Athletes in Action and our friends the Apelgrens from Sweden blessed us with their musical talents. The spring and susmmer provide a beautiful time for guests to join us and enjoy the city of Rome .

In the end of June we shared a group of teachers with our friends from Breccia di Roma Church. The group travelled from Memphis, Tennessee and provided good contact with members and some guest in teaching English.

Many of our members were with us throughout the summer and this provided a time of much teaching time together. During the weeks we continued meeting in places other than our meeting place.

We had two trips up to the north of Italy. One together were we had a national church meeting then we took a day to visit charming Venice.

The other trip was a reunion near Torino with former ship-mates, many we had not met since we served on the Doulos ship in the 1980s.
