Definitions Donaldson's part number Supplier's part number Yearly volume that can be run on existing tooling Estimated Annual Usage Purchased or Manufactured Unit of Measure Identify how much of that unit it takes for one part Cost per unit in US$ Dollars Type of Material Supplier, if purchased Identify each of the processes the part must go through Identify the labor rate for each operation Identify the time it takes for one operator to process one part; can be shown as standard hours or the hourly production rate. Extension of labor rate multiplied by the standard hours or divide the labor rate by the hourly production rate (Column 12 X Column 13) Identify the portion of the burden which varies directly with activity level (i.e. indirect material supplies, freight, etc.) Identify the portion of the burden which remains constant, regardless of changes in activity level (i.e.: depreciation, supervisory salaries, maintenance, etc.) Total Manufacturing Cost (material + labor + burden): Sum of material, labor and burden Identify the profit dollar amount portion of the selling price
