Before beginning installation in any area, examine all parts of the structure into which the applicable work is to be placed. Should any conditions be found which will prevent the proper execution of this work, installation work shall not proceed in that area until such conditions are corrected by the Contractor. Do not commence ceiling installation until building is weather sealed and the building is completely dry, internal temperature is between 15C and 30C and maximum 70% humidity. Protect adjoining work as necessary before installation or as agreed with engineer. INSTALLATION - GRID SUSPENSION SYSTEM Fix all ceiling systems in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions and recommendations, except as otherwise shown or specified in approved shop drawings. Install system in accordance with British Standards. Locate system as shown on reflected plan. Install after work above ceiling work is complete. Coordinate the location of hangers with other work. Supply hangers or inserts for installation as recommended and as applicable to their position and situation with instructions for their correct placement. Provide additional hangers and inserts as required. Hang suspension system independent of walls, columns, ducts, pipes and conduit. Where carrying members are spliced, avoid visible displacement of face plane of adjacent members. Where ducts or other equipment prevent the regular spacing of hangers, reinforce the nearest affected hangers and related carrying channels to span the extra distance.

3.2.10 Do not support components on main runners or cross runners if weight causes total dead load to exceed deflection capability. Support fixture loads by supplementary hangers located within 150mm of each corner; or support components independently. 3.2.11 Do not eccentrically load system, or produce rotation of runners.
