Third Annual Peer Reviewed Poster Presentations on Sunday, April 6, 2014 We are pleased to announce the third annual

peer reviewed Physical Therapy Poster Presentation for the state of West Virginia. WVPTA is pleased to provide this poster and research opportunity for faculty, students and clinicians and hope that we can broaden our knowledge through continued research and education. The posters will be on display Sunday morning during the conference from 8:00 am 12:00 pm. The presenters will be available from 10:00-10:45 a.m. at their poster for Q&A/discussion.

Fun Events to Raise Money Through the course of the conference there will be fund raising events to support the WVPT PAC and the student scholarship fund. Conference Location The Stonewall Resort in Roanoke, WV is located just 2 miles off Interstate 79 at exit 91 and is accessible from all major metropolitan areas within a 4-hour driving radius. Stonewall Resort is a little over one hour north of Charleston, WV and 2 hours south of Pittsburgh, PA. By car take the Roanoke exit (91) from I-79 and follow the signs to Stonewall Resort. Lodging Reservations There are a limited number of rooms being held at the Stonewall Resort at $210 single occupancy and $153 per person, double occupancy. This rate includes two meals per day starting with dinner on the night of arrival and ending with lunch the day of departure, morning and afternoon break food. This rate does not include the daily resort fee or taxes. The resort fee is a daily, per room fee of $15.00 that includes onsite parking, in-park shuttle service, high speed internet access and WIFI, use of fitness equipment, indoor/outdoor pool, sauna, steam room, paddle boats, canoes, kayaks, excursion boat, mountain bikes, basic fishing equipment and many other amenities. In order to ensure the contracted room rates at the time of the call, attendees must identify themselves as being part of West Virginia Physical Therapy Association. Reservations should be made no later than March 11, 2014. Individuals will need to provide a credit card upon check in. What Your Room Rate Pays for at Stonewall Resort In order for everyone to understand what the overnight room charge pays for and what each individual is responsible for, the following rules apply. The conference plan begins with dinner on night of arrival and ending with lunch on day of departure. Hotel Rate/Night Single Meeting Attendee: $210 per person, per night attending the conference Spouse Attendee: $60 per person, per night for spouse (not attending the conference workshops, but eating breakfast, lunch, dinner or reception on the property). **Stonewall reservation desk will issue Spouse tickets for these meals when you check into the resort.

Double Meeting Attendee: $153 per person, per night for 2 people to attend the conference (total: $306) Friday, April 4, 2014 Expected arrival late afternoon: Your room rate includes: Dinner in Stillwaters Restaurant or attendance at WVPTA Board Dinner in Maple Room Saturday, April 5, 2014 Your room rate includes: Continental Breakfast available in the foyer outside the meeting room. **If you go to Stillwaters for a full breakfast, you will be charged $14 per person, plus service charge and tax for the buffet. Break foods in the morning and afternoon in the foyer outside meeting room WVPTA Membership Luncheon Meeting in the Ballroom 1 **If you go to Stillwaters for lunch instead of attending the Membership Luncheon, you will be charged. You are on your own Saturday evening for dinner (meal cost included in hotel room registration and non-hotel guest will pay like any other restaurant). Stillwaters is open from 5:00 10:00 pm. GOLF: WVOS has reserved eight golf tee times beginning at 11:00 am on Friday, April 4, 2014. Everyone is welcome to participate. Golf rates are $89 per person and include green fees, shared golf cart and unlimited use of the practice facility. Please call 304-269-8885 to make your tee time by March 27th and identify yourself as being with WVOS/WVPTA. Special rates apply after 2:00 pm. Who Should Attend: Physicians, Physical Therapists and Physical Therapist Assistants. Families: Stonewall Resort offers a variety of family activities. Consider making this week-end a family event. What Conference Registration Fee Covers: The conference registration fees include admittance to your course(s) of choice, access to course material, CE Certification, continental breakfast and snacks both days in foyer, and lunch on Saturday. You will be provided online access to the materials prior to the event and can download and print the materials or access them during the presentations.
