! The search is on for the next Outstanding Organizations that performed exemplary in Service, Harmony and Excellence.

RULES: 1. The contest is open to all Student Body Organizations and Recognized Student Organizations of Velez College. 2. Entries shall be written in the application forms given by the Supreme Student Council (SSC) or the Student Services and Affairs Office (SSAO). 3. The contest is composed of the Portfolio Entry, Exhibit Entry, and the Best Entry for Category A and B Presentation. 4. Only activities with permits, written invitations (for invited/ contests outside the campus) and only awards with certificates/ certification/ picture of the trophy or plaque received shall be honored. 5. All entry forms must be fastened on the left side of the paper, in a folder following the order as listed. 6. Organizations should present photocopied documents to the SSAO, the organizations should present original copy of all the documents for verification only upon the request of any members of the panel of adjudicators. 7. All entry form and soft copy of power point presentation in CD format must be submitted to the SMOCSO Committee on or before February 21, 2014, 11:00 AM at the SSAO. 8. Late documents will not be accepted. 9. The focal presentation of the Best Entries for Categories A and B shall be presented by (2) two presenters on March 7, 2014, Friday, at a venue to be announced later. Presenters must be in business casual wear. 10. Documents that do not follow the abovementioned rules will be rendered invalid and shall not be accepted by the SMOCSO Committee. 11. Corresponding points will be given to every counted activity/program and award/achievement: 12. If the points exceed the transmutation table provided, the SMOCSO Committee will grant the perfect percentage to the CSC/Organization on the specific criteria. 13. Criteria for Most Outstanding Organization: Category A (SERVICE) 30% Category B (HARMONY) 30% Category C (EXCELLENCE) 30% Tarpaulin/Exhibit 10% Total 100%

Criteria for the Best Entry for Service Category: Innovation and Creativity 20% Significance and Impact to the Community 30% Sustainability 20% Efficiency and Effectiveness of the Implementation 25% Delivery and Presentation 5% Total 100% Criteria for the Best Entry for Harmony Category: Innovation and Creativity 20% Significance and Impact to the Organization Members 30% Participation of Members 20% Efficiency and Effectiveness of the Implementation 25% Delivery and Presentation 5% Total 100% 14. The decision of the Panel of Adjudicators is final and irrevocable. 15. The awards shall be given during the turn over ceremonies of the Velez College SSC.
