Professional Experience
Kaohsiung American School August 2011-Present
Middle School Athletic Director, Middle School Health and Physical Education, 9th Grade English, Global Studies Coached girls varsity volleyball and soccer strengthening the athletic department and developing healthy and well-rounded students. Developed set procedures within the Athletic Department improving the structure and setting higher standards for the students and coaches. Spearheaded the formation of the middle school health curriculum creating appropriate vertical alignment within the department. Initiated a high school elective, Global Studies, providing students with the opportunity to research and discuss current global issues around the world. Designed and produced comprehensive lesson plans, which incorporated multiple learning styles, developed unit projects to enhance curriculum while facilitating students creating world connections. Collaborated with team members to integrate curriculum across studies for a holistic learning experience. Advised multiple student run clubs including High School Student Council, Global Issues Network, and Middle School Model United Nations therefore allowing students the opportunity to showcase passion and strengths.
