It's time for our annual Create-A-Course contest! This is your chance to design (and perhaps take) the course of your dreams. In addition to guaranteed enrollment in the course when and if it's offered, the winner will receive an Amazon Kindle Paperwhite (valued at $139). Courses are judged on four criteria--(1) the importance and relevance of the course; (2) evidence of effort and creativity on the part of the proposer; (3) the course's potential to attract students; and (4) the feasibility of offering the course at Clemson. Students are encouraged to suggest a faculty member who might be interested in teaching the course, but you are not to contact the faculty member at this point. Entries are due in the Honors College office by 4:30pm on Friday, March 28, 2014. Entry forms can be downloaded at http://www.clemson.edu/cuhonors/ documents/Create_A_Course_rev10_13.pdf - just print your completed entry and bring it to 105 Tillman before the deadline. Over the years we've taught many great courses through this contest, including Becoming Harry Potter; The Science of Music; The Nature of Infinity; and Einstein for Everyone. Your course could be next!
