Conference Goals
The conference will focus on clinicians, child abuse survivors, and loved ones working together in order to share knowledge that will empower, enlighten, and benefit each uniquely. Our goal is that trauma survivors will leave the conference with the tools and knowledge that can be used in everyday life; that supporters acquire a better understanding of trauma and dissociation and its effects on survivors; that clinicians gain skills that will be useful when treating dissociative clients
The conference begins at 8:00 am on Friday and ends at 4:00 pm on Sunday. Friday, Sandra Paulsen will be holding a day-long workshop. Most of the workshops and plenaries are educational focusing on the needs of survivors, clinicians, and supporters CEs are pending and should be cleared by March 15. We will also have workshops that are interactive and fun. We will keep the website updated - http://igdid.org.
