“Dear Jesus,

Thank You for sending me a valentine written in crimson

blood, saying: ‘I have loved you with an everlasting love’
(Jeremiah 31:3). You have also said in Your Word that
nothing can separate me from Your love (Romans 8:38-
39).

Lord Jesus, I want to renew my love for

You. Please help me remain faithful to
You and always put You first in my life.
Thank You for Your incredible love for
me. Help me love You more each day. I
give You my heart.”

Your beloved bride

“On January 19, Randy and three of his fellow students

graduated from Teen Challenge. The ceremony was
inspirational, and all who attended rejoiced with these
men as they shared the way God has transformed their
lives over the past year.

Randy shared that it had been his sister who told him
about Teen Challenge and that he had been so afraid
upon arriving. But after seeing the love of Christ in both
the staff and students, he knew this rehab was different.
Ten days into the program, he fell to his knees and gave
his life to the Lord. His desire is to live the Word and
spread the Good News to everyone he meets. Something
deep inside of him changed, and the empty void was
immediately filled. Randy expressed his
deep gratitude to his sponsors, staff, interns, and fellow
students for all their support expressed over the last year
and closed by singing a beautiful song called “Who Am I?”
by Casting Crowns.

Randy will be starting an internship at Teen Challenge.

He is looking forward to giving back to the ministry that
helped change his life. In conjunction with his internship,
Randy will also be attending Bible college on a part-time
basis. Please pray that he will continue to put God first
and that he will remain strong in the Lord as he makes
this transition in his life.

Friends at Community Baptist Church, thank you for

touching the lives of these men in such a remarkable way
through your prayers and financial support.”

Lloyd Swanson has to remove his old furniture

from his house this week. If you need furniture
or know anyone who does, please give him a call (773-
2405) and arrange to take a look. It would be available
free or cheap! Whatever isn’t spoken for will have to be
removed and taken somewhere by the end of the week
(not sure where yet!). If you (or your truck!) could help
with moving the furniture, please contact Lloyd or the
church office.

Thank you so much to all who have already volunteered

to help with a meal to bless our engaged
couples at the Alpha pre-marriage course
Pastor Joell will be doing with them. We
have all the meals looked after but could use one or two
more volunteers to help with the Sunday, March 16 meal.
Because it’s a Country Church night, that meal will be
served at 5:00 p.m.

We need a few more billets! We need to billet 10 Teen

Challenge students on Saturday night,
March 29. They are ministering at our
church on Sunday, March 30.

If you would like to get involved in any

type of ministry (helping with music,
ushering, leading a care group,
children’s ministry, visitation, sound
system, etc., etc.), please feel free to
contact the church office anytime. We’d
love to hear from you!
