Keshav Mahavidyalaya is a constituent college of University of Delhi. It is one of the three colleges offering a degree course in Business Studies. It has been an honour to the college to have always been the among the front runner as far as allotment of any new computer course is concerned.

Course Name:Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications Course Detail:It is a three semester course where the third semester is devoted to industrial training. Course Affilition: University of Delhi Admission Criteria:Admissions will be made through an entrance examination conducted by the Department of Computer Science, University of Delhi in the month of June. Minimum eligibility required for admission to P.G.D.C.A. is graduate in any discipline with not less than 50% marks and having studied Mathematics at 10 + 2 stage. Course Name:Bachelor of Science in Applied Physical Science Course Detail:B.Sc. (Programme) - Applied Physical Science is a program which provides students exposure to the critical domains of the Science i.e. Physics, Chemistry and Biology. Course Affilition: University of Delhi Admission Criteria:Admission will be made strictly on merit of the aggregate marks of the PCM/ PMC. Sc. in Senior School Certificate (12 Year course) or equivalent examination. 45% or more marks in aggregate of three subjects and passing in one compulsory language. Computer Science Program is a professional 3 year (6 semester) programme. The curriculum of this programme includes computer languages such as C, C++, Java and Advanced Internet Technologies, Computer Graphics, XML, XSL, PESL-CGL and so on. Course Affilition: University of Delhi Admission Criteria:Admission for B.Sc. (H) Computer Science is based on Merit. The eligibility in senior school certificate (12 year course) or equivalent examination passed with Mathematics and having at least 55% marks in aggregate in best four subjects, which includes Mathematics, one language and two best academic subjects. The college may give due weightage to marks obtained in Mathematics in 12th class. Graduates of this program can look forward to a broad range of career opportunities in the dynamic & competitive environment of today's business world. This program facilitates the integration of academic knowledge and practical work experience as the students are required to undertake summer training for duration of 6 to 8 weeks at the end of semester II or IV during summer vacations. A broad understanding of and practice in using, basic tools of applied mathematics (including differential equations, mechanics, numerical analysis, probability and statistics). Beside this it gives familiarity with a mathematical computer programming language Fortran. Mathematic Science has the combination of Mathematics Operations Research and Computer Science. Facilities
Infrastructure Overview: The college sports a modern building with fully equipped computer labs with wi fi LAN networking, LCD Projectors; Sports and Gym facilities. The college offers an aesthetic blend of technology and natural greens. Hostel Details: A girls hostel with a capacity of 80 students. The hostel is well-equipped for comfortable accomodation and provides all the basic amenities. Hostel is expected to be functional by this academic session. Laboratory Details:The state-of-art Computer wing of new Campus has three Computer Labs. All the computer ystems are of Pentium-IV series. The labs can accommodate approx. 90 systems apart from servers. There is a separate UPS room. All the labs have been powered by UPS of 15 KVA each providing uninterrupted working environment to all computer systems. The labs are continuously upgraded to ensure acquiring of latest software skills by the students. Library Details:The College maintains a well-stocked double storey, spacious library comprising of two large reading rooms and a separate magazine section. The library has very well-stacked various sections consisting of around 12,200 books. It has a rich collection of text books, reference materials and encyclopedias of various fields. Extra Curricular Details:The college has been promoting extra-curricular activities through subject seminars and other societies. The aim of all these activities is to provide ample opportunities to the students with a view to develop their qualities of initiative, organization skill, public speaking, leadership, self help and self expression.
