Judging Rubric 2014 Wyoming State Science Fair

Judge ID#

There are five general categories for judging each project: Creativity, Scientific
thought/Engineering goals, Thoroughness, Skill and Clarity. Each category represents
a core value associated with high quality scientific research. The maximum points
associated with each judging category (core value) are provided in parentheses.
Indicators/competencies that support each value are provided. Assign points with the
following general principles in mind:
0-score implies there is no evidence of that competency
1-score implies minimal evidence
2-score implies fair representation of the competency
3-score implies excellent representation of the competency
4-score implies superior or exemplary representation of the competency
