Lessons 51-60

FREQUENTLY OCCURING WORDS

(Almost 70% of Quranic Vocabulary)
with examples of their usage
using the material covered in Part-I
The list is provided here for two purposes:
(i)
Use this list as a review of the material covered in the past 50 lessons;
(ii)

(iii)

(iv)

(v)

VERY IMPORTANT: Each word/verb is provided with an example as a

reference sentence for future recall! If you can not recall the meaning of
any of these words, just recall the context in which it was used. The
context provided by the reference sentence is of big help both in learning,
memorizing, and retaining the meanings in your memory and in recalling
them from your memory.
These words occur very frequently in the Quran. Therefore they should be
memorized with utmost attention. The number on the left shows the
number of times it has occurred in the Quran;
After you have thoroughly studied 50 lessons, check your learning and
achievement by noting down the fact that these words indeed constitute
almost 70% of the Quranic vocabulary;
Meanings of the words are also provided along with their examples. A
student should try to recall the meanings from memory. If he fails then he
may look at them on the left side. A more detailed list of frequently
occurring Quranic verbs (for each pattern or verb type) is provided in a
separate booklet, 80% words of the Quran. It is also available on the
website www.understandquran.com.

TABLE OF CONTENTS for this part is provided on the next page.
