Introit Welcome Minister : We come into your presence (LHS ) seeking your peace (RHS) seeking your hope (LHS) seeking your comfort. (RHS) seeking your Love (All) We come asking for a blessing. Equip us in this hour to be your people, saved and sent, a blessing for all the world. Hymn 153 Great is thy faithfulness 1 Great is thy faithfulness, O God my Father, there is no shadow of turning with thee ; thou changest not, thy compassions they fail not, as thou hast been thou forever wilt be. Great is thy faithfulness ! Great is thy faithfulness ! Morning by morning new mercies I see ; all I have needed thy hand hath provided great is thy faithfulness, Lord, unto me. 2 Summer and winter, and seed-time and harvest, sun, moon, and stars in their courses above, join with all nature in manifold witness to thy great faithfulness, mercy, and love. 3 Pardon for sin and a peace that endureth, thine own dear presence to cheer and to guide ; strength for today and bright hope for tomorrow, blessings all mine, with ten thousand beside. Thomas O. Chisholm (18661960) Prayer Reading Hymn 505 All that I am ( offering) 1 All that I am, all that I do, all that Ill ever have I offer now to you. Take and sanctify these gifts for your honour, Lord. Knowing that I love and serve you is enough reward. All that I am, all that I do, all that Ill ever have I offer now to you. 2 All that I dream, all that I pray, all that Ill ever make I give to you today. Take and sanctify these gifts for your honour, Lord. Knowing that I love and serve you is enough reward. All that I am, all that I do, all that Ill ever have I offer now to you. Sebastian Temple (19281997)

807 Praise God Praise God, from whom all blessings flow ; praise him, all creatures here below ; praise him above, ye heavenly host ; praise Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. Thomas Ken (16371711) Dedication of offering Sermon Hymn (Young People Enter) 506 Knowing you 1 All I once held dear, built my life upon, all this world reveres, and wars to own, all I once thought gain I have counted loss ; spent and worthless now, compared to this : Knowing you, Jesus, knowing you, there is no greater thing. Youre my all, youre the best, youre my joy, my righteousness, and I love you, Lord. 2 Now my hearts desire is to know you more, to be found in you and known as yours, to possess by faith what I could not earn, all-surpassing gift of righteousness. 3 Oh, to know the power of your risen life, and to know you in your sufferings, to become like you in your death, my Lord, so with you to live and never die. Graham Kendrick (b. 1950) Young people welcomed Hymn 19 Ye gates PSALM 24 7 Ye gates, lift up your heads on high ; ye doors that last for aye, be lifted up, that so the King of glory enter may. 8 But who of glory is the King ? The mighty Lord is this ; * even that same Lord that great in might and strong in battle is. 9 Ye gates, lift up your heads ; ye doors, doors that do last for aye, be lifted up, that so the King of glory enter may. 10 But who is he that is the King, the King of glory ? who is this ? The Lord of hosts, and none but he, the King of glory is. Coda : Alleluia ! alleluia ! alleluia ! alleluia ! alleluia ! Amen, amen, amen. * The last two lines of each verse are repeated. Psalm 24, verses 7-10, The Scottish Psalter, 1929

Sacrament of Holy Communion Prayers Hymn MP 1072 In Christ Alone In Christ alone my hope is found, He is my light, my strength, my song; this Cornerstone, this solid Ground, firm through the fiercest drought and storm. What heights of love, what depths of peace, when fears are stilled, when strivings cease! My Comforter, my All in All, here in the love of Christ I stand. In Christ alone! who took on flesh Fulness of God in helpless babe! This gift of love and righteousness Scorned by the ones he came to save: Till on that cross as Jesus died, The wrath of God was satisfied For every sin on Him was laid; Here in the death of Christ I live.

There in the ground His body lay Light of the world by darkness slain: Then bursting forth in glorious Day Up from the grave he rose again! And as He stands in victory Sin's curse has lost its grip on me, For I am His and He is mine Bought with the precious blood of Christ. No guilt in life, no fear in death, This is the power of Christ in me; From life's first cry to final breath. Jesus commands my destiny. No power of hell, no scheme of man, Can ever pluck me from His hand; Till He returns or calls me home, Here in the power of Christ I'll stand

Benediction
