3RD MARCH 2014

PRESIDENTS ADDRESS!
Hey everyone welcome to ESAC! I hope you are all adjusting to the Sydney lifestyle the beautiful beaches, the poor public transport, the variety of multiculturalism, the expense of, well, everything and our unpredictable weather.! Im really glad you joined ESAC and hope that each and every one of you nds something you will treasure with your adventures with us. I really want to show o" Sydneys multiculturalism and take you to places even some locals dont know about and give you some new experiences about cultural exchange and especially cuisine.! I know exchange is a (mostly) once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for you and you want to cram as much as possible in! We do too!! Thats why we are teaming up with some other clubs to o"er you the best activities around. We also are working hard to get sponsors so we can give you guys more discounts, allowing you to explore this great southern land to the fullest.!

While exchange is an exhilarating leap into the unknown it can also be a little daunting. So if you feel a little scared, please come up and talk to me (I have blue hair so Im pretty easy to spot), or any of my exec team. We have all been on exchange and want to share all your happiness (and even your pain). ! We know how exciting exchange can be and how much you want to share it with everyone, so please contact us if you want to share your blog with us we would love to read it.! We know that our culture can be a little confusing at times, but hopefully you will learn to love it. Stay tuned for updates on our events and for our Aussie Culture 101 coming to your Facebook feed soon.!

Meig is studying a BS in Information Technology and International Studies. She is from Sydney and has Studied in Modena.

Of course when it comes down to it, the best thing to do is to mingle with the locals. I would say see what other local students do and where they go to (probably the bar with the cheapest drinks). Get lost, explore and throw away your map (or at least dont look at it for a while) and discover what Sydney is all about!! Hope to see you and your friends at one of our events soon.! Ciao, Adis, bientt! Auf Wiedersehen, & cya later,! Megan Buhagiar!
