General Solution 1 - an autopsy

Not implemented with the following assumptions:

1. Clutter due to the lines makes for confusion

2. Thin lines make understanding of color difficult.
3. Time spent on comprehending relations is too much

Solution for IID Classroom

Implemented with the following observations:

1. Correlation to Tube-lights was not easy

! ! ' " " 2. Grouping of Tube lights (if exists) should be

studied before this information is designed.

3. It might become easier if the useris told where

he is located in the room when he’s standing
at the switchboard

4. The switch and the diagram have the same

of appliance (round) sticker.

# # ( $ $ This might be easy to understand when it

comes to understanding the number
co-relation but becomes difficult in a case
like that of blue and green.
Possible Solution:
1. Use the colored sticker but make it of the
size of the switch to increase easy distinction
between colors.
2. Use flourcent shades for still better
distinction between colors.

along with numbers.
