30th May, 2013 First Year Admission 2013 2014 B.M.S. / B.M.M. / B.Sc.(I.T.) COURSEWISE ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA IS AVAILABLE IN COLLEGE PROSPECTUS (Hardcopy as well as on-line on college website)
a. As per University of Mumbai notification, every candidate admitted to the degree course in the constituent / affiliated college / recognized institution, conducting the course, shall have to register himself/herself with the University website
i. The college procedure for on-line submission form: i. Log on to the college website www.upgcm.svkm.ac.in ii. Click on the link for admission to First Year 2013 - 14. iii. As per the procedure specified by the University of Mumbai, you are required to register for Pre Admission Online Registration on University website http://mum.digitaluniversity.ac before you apply to any of the college on or before 07/06/2013. (In case of any difficulties while applying for Pre Admission Online Registration you are request to contact University helpline Call Centre : +91-9326552525 (Only for students) from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. on Working days)
OR
IGNORE the message if you have already registered for the Pre Admission Online Registration. Please go through the prospectus of the college to know about the courses and /or subject combination(s) offered by the college, rules, regulations etc. Before you fill the Pre Admission Online Registration Form. iv. The applicant is required to take hardcopy of the Pre Admission Online Registration Form uploaded and submit the college copy of the form to the college along with the hardcopy of college admission form from 06/06/2013 to 10/06/2013 between 9.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. & 1.30 p.m. to 3.00 p.m. v. The college application form is in Adobe format and you are required to have Adobe Reader (Version 9 or above) on your computer. Click on the link for free down load of Adobe Reader. vi. Please download the admission form and save the admission form on your computer. vii. Please alter the security settings as per the instructions in the screen shots. viii. After making the necessary changes in the security settings, the downloaded admission form can be filled off-line i.e. without the internet connection. ix. Please fill the admission form very carefully and confirm that the form is filled properly. x. Once you have confirmed that the admission form is filled properly, Please connect to the internet and submit/upload the duly filled form by clicking on the submit button.
xi. Once the form is uploaded you will be assigned the application number. xii. If the application no. is not generated then it means that the security instruction are not followed properly and in such cases the applicant must repeat the steps (i) to (ix) stated above. xiii. Save the form and take the hardcopy i.e. the printout of the form. xiv. Please note that once the application number is generated, the payment of Rs. 100/- and incase of online payment Rs.101.50/- (Rs.1.50 convenience fee) towards the application form is to be made. The payment can be made in two ways viz. by using the payment gateway provided on the website or through physical payment of the application fees at the college along with the submission of the hard copy of the form.

xv. If the payment is made and confirmed through the payment gateway, the applicant will receive Lead Number through mail. The applicants are required to note that they will be considered for the merit list only if they submit the hardcopies of (1) Pre Admission Online Registration form & (2) College Admission form from 06/06/2013 to 10/06/2013 between 9.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. & 1.30 p.m. to 3.00 p.m. xvi. In case if the applicant wishes to make the payment of the application fees at the college, the applicant will have to submit the hardcopies of (1) Pre Admission Online Registration form & (2) College Admission form from 06/06/2013 to 10/06/2013 between 9.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. & 1.30 p.m. to 3.00 p.m. xvii. APPLICANTS ARE REQUIRED TO NOTE THAT ONLY THOSE NAMES WHERE APPLICATION NUMBER AND LEAD NUMBER (In case if application fees is paid online)/RECEIPT OF ACKNOWLEGEMENT (if application fees paid in the college) and hardcopy of the (1) Pre Admission Online Registration form & (2) College Admission form along with the following documents is submitted at the college in the prescribed time WILL BE CONSIDERED FOR ADMISSIONS. Documents required : (1) Hardcopy of College Admission form. (2) Hardcopy of Pre Admission Online Registration form. Attested photocopies only : (3) H.S.C. Marksheet & Leaving Certificate. (4) S.S.C. Marksheet. (5) Any other certificate/s as applicable (6) Provisional Statement of Eligibility in case the applicant has passed H.S.C./equivalent examination other than Maharashtra Board (or the
photocopy of the receipt of the payment made for application of Provisional Statement of Eligibility). j. Hardcopy of the 1) Pre Admission Online Registration form & (2) College Admission form and the application fees will be accepted at the college from 6th June, 2013 to 10th June 2013 9.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. & 1.30 p.m. to 3.00 p.m. (except on Sunday 9th June 2013)
k. ALL THE MERIT LISTS WOULD BE BASED ON THE FORMS COLLECTED BETWEEN 6th June, 2013 to 10th June 2013 9.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. & 1.30 p.m. to 3.00 p.m. l. n. Fees Payable: as per given in the College Prospectus by DD or Pay Order ONLY in favour of Usha Pravin Gandhi College of Management. NO CASH WILL BE ACCEPTED. o. At the time of admissions, the applicants are required to submit the following documents in ORIGINAL and 2 attested photocopies of : H.S.C. Marksheet and H.S.C. Leaving Certificate. Photo copy of Ration Card / Telephone Bill / Electricity Bill as proof of residence. Any other certificate as applicable, in the name of the student. 3 recent photographs Provisional Statement of Eligibility. p. Once a subsequent merit list is displayed, no admission shall be made from the earlier merit list. q. In case, the student has any difficulty in paying fees or any other problem, he/she is requested to contact Mrs. Kalika S. Kherdikar, Registrar or the Principal only. Please do not inquire with any other staff for information regarding admissions. r. Incomplete forms will be rejected. s. All admissions are on provisional basis subject to confirmation of enrolment/eligibility by the University of Mumbai. Revised process for applying for Provisional Statement of Eligibility under the new Pre-admission Online Registration process at the college.
1. Students from other than Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education are required to apply for Provisional Statement of Eligibility. 2. Log on to the MKCL website : http://mum.digitaluniversity.ac to fill the online registration form. 3. Fill the details as required in the Pre Admission Online Registration Form. 4. Save the form and then take the hard copy of the Pre Admission Online Registration Form. 5. Submit 2 copies of the Pre-admission Online Registration form at any college along with the ATTESTED PHOTOCOPY of the following documents if the student has passed the qualifying examinations from Indian board by appearing from any place in India OR has passed the 3 years post SSC diploma Maharashtra Technical Board. In case of any other category please submit the form at the Eligibility Section of University of Mumbai, Kalina Campus, Santacruz (East), Mumbai, along with the photocopies of the document specified. a. Marksheet of HSC / Equivalent Examination. b. Transfer Certificate, Migration Certificate. c. Marksheet of SSC / Equivalent Examination. 6. Fees payable : For students from state Rs. 320/- and for foreign national Rs. 750/-. 7. If the application form for Provisional Statement of Eligibility is submitted at the college than the college will forward the application form along with the documents and the fees to the Eligibility Section, University of Mumbai. 8. Students should collect the Provisional Statement of Eligibility from the college or from the place of submission of the application form for Provisional Statement of Eligibility after 8 working days (subject to the condition that the University authorities issue the Provisional Statement of Eligibility on schedule to the college).
