Article I Software Development Club (SDC) Article II Our plan is to assist our members with unique projects that

can prepare them for a professional atmosphere and strengthen resumes while gaining experience in a creative environment. Article III Membership requires participation which is defined by the president and the sponsor of the club. Members must have a cumulative GPA that is 2.5 or above. Members must be full time students and work without conflict in a group environment. Members have the right to have participation that does not conflict with their work or academic schedule. Members may resign via contact with president or sponsor, which can be done at any time. The president and sponsor reserve the right to withhold credit to projects that were incomplete at the time of resignation. A member may be expelled if they are considered unfit for group work or if they repeatedly do not show up for meetings. Expulsion must be overseen by sponsor and president and will be confidential (via email or personal meeting). Article IV Eric Hong Sponsor Sponsors will be a professional consultant for obstacles that may occur while developing software. The sponsor will be expected to assist in high priority club decisions. Trevor Stroud President Oversee future projects, plans, and outlines regarding the club. Cale Shoemaker Treasurer Help with organization as well as assisting the president and sponsor. The treasurer will assist in communicating with members to allot meeting and work times. Minor position elections will be held by group vote and approved by sponsor and president. The current active president will elect his successor with sponsor approval. The minor position elections will be held every year in the month of August. Article V Meetings will be held at a location decided by the club president every Tuesday (non-holiday). Special meetings can be held as needed with approval by the president or sponsor. A quorum is constituted by 5 members, one of them having to be an officer. Article VI The club has the intended purpose to work closely with the Computer Science department. No other local or national organizations are applicable at this time.

Article VII We propose to develop software in a group setting. Article VIII Officers consist of the executive committee. The officers are the president, treasurer and sponsor. Their roles consist of maintenance and organization of the club which involves finalizing decisions for the improvement of the club. Member selection will be decided by members of the executive committee but can be proposed by non-officers for consideration. Article IX The advisor position will be selected at the executive committees discretion. The advisor is defined to be professional consultant for obstacles that may occur while developing software. The sponsor will be expected to assist in high priority club decisions. Article X The accepted rules of order will be decided and outlined at a later time. Article XI Amendments can be adopted by a majority 2/3 vote by the active members.
