Mar. 10, Mon.-The Ministry Team will be meeting at 6 p.m. followed by the Board of Elders at 7 p.m. Thanks for your prayers for these meetings. If you have questions, encouragement, suggestions, etc. for our church, please share them with the ministry team. Your input is welcomed. Mar. 10, Mon.-The Lancaster Area MDS Unit annual meeting will be held at the MDS bi-national office, 583 Airport Rd, Lititz, at 7 p.m. Everyone interested in bringing hope to people experiencing disaster is invited. Mar. 11, Tues.-All ladies over 16 years of age are welcome to the Fitness and Fellowship here at church, 6:45 p.m. Mar. 12, Wed.-Community Lenten Services-Series - Pastor David Brumbaugh speaking @ Trinity United Methodist Church at 7:30 p.m.- 420 Main Street Denver Mar. 12, Wed.-JGA/JBA and Jr. Youth will meet at the Bowmansville Menn. Church this from 7-8:30 p.m. JGA will have a seeing eye puppy trainer as a guest speaker. JBA will be assembling school kits. Jr. Youth will meet at the church as usual, and will travel by bus to Blue Ball Lanes for an evening of bowling. The cost is $9 for shoes and a game. Bring extra money if you want to purchase snacks. They will return to the church by the usual dismissal time of 8:30 p.m. Mar. 14-16, Fri.-Sun.-Celebration of Church Life Mar. 19, Wed.-Sewing Circle will meet at the Bowmansville Menn. Church in the morning/afternoon. Ladies of all ages are welcome to come to knot comforters, quilt or sew on a sewing machine. The project for this month is School Kits, which includes: 4 spiral or perforated notebooks (8 1/2 x 10 in; 70 sheets); 4 unsharpened pencils; 1 ruler (flat, flexible plastic showing both centimeters and inches); 12 colored pencils (in packaging) and 1 large pencil eraser. Items can be brought to the church and Sewing Circle will see they are taken to MCC. Thanks you for your generosity!. Mar. 20, Thurs.-LAMS is holding their annual open house. Please see the flyer on the bulletin board for more info. April 5, Sat.-Annual Banquet-Come support the Lancaster Mennonite Historical Society and fellowship with Ervin Stutzman, executive director of Mennonite Church USA, as he reflects on: can the quiet in the land keep their peace? The banquet will be starting at 6 p.m. at Yoders Restaurant in New Holland. Tickets can be purchased online at lmhs.org or by calling 717-393-9745. April 10, Thurs.-"Ladies Night Out" will be held at Woodcrest Retreat at 6 p.m. Enjoy a delightful evening with a delicious hot buffet. Bonnie Greiner will creatively present "Saran Wrap Faith." Cost: $15 Call 717-738-2233 by April 3 for reservations. April 11, 12 and 13- Ladies retreat. Please check out the display table in the narthex and learn more about our service project. We plan on having a shoe cutting party for Sole Hope at the cabin. A sign up sheet is also available for those planning to attend the weekend Happy Birthday! Thank you. - QUILTER'S ATTIC is still collecting quilt-related items for the PA Relief Sale. These items can be dropped off at the 10,000 Villages store in Ephrata during regular store hours. Questions?? 717-526-4295 -There are several Sunday school class lunches scheduled after church as opportunities to pray together and get congregational input related to church growth and long range planning as outlined in a letter that was placed in mailboxes several weeks ago (copies available). These lunches are as follows: Downstairs kitchenside adult class - Sun, March 9; Upstairs adult class - Sun, March 23, Youth class Sun, March 30. If you can't make it for the lunch for your class, you are welcome to sit in on another one. Your prayer and input is appreciated as we seek God's will together. -Updated Church Photo Directory-We are beginning the process of updating our church photo directory. Please contact Phil Horning or Bethany Horning to arrange a time for a photo to be taken(Sun. after church might be good), or if you have a recent individual or family photo you would like to use, let us know that as well.
