Meet some of the talented people behind this months issue

Contributors

talib choudhry
Trying to capture the pulse-quickening spirit of Casablanca was the latest challenge for Choudhry, stylist for our regular Overview feature. Sadly, for him, the only actual travel involved was a quick trip to Brixton to nd suitably exotic fruit for the shoot, but the ELLE Decoration, Guardian and Sunday Times Style contributor still managed to make something as pretty as it is useful (see p38).

juliana worrall
Worrall, AKA Papercut Princess, has had her work, ahem, cut out for her since launching her papercutting business in January. Commissions, from lobsters to steamboats, have been ocking in, but few have matched the intricacy of the fairy-tale landscapes shes done for our Brothers Grimm challenge feature (see p51). Her next job? Collaborating with street artist Inkie.

alex pell
Even the risk of being branded a peeping Tom didnt put our travel technology editor, AKA Doctor Gadget, o his quest to nd the best binoculars (see p118). Its all in a days work for self-confessed gadget-obsessive Pell, who as ex-editor of Stu magazine and founder of Dashboard Media describes his job as trying not to break toys, mostly. We think hes being modest.

amy dennis
Spending three years writing in Argentina convinced Ms Dennis that travel journalism was the career for her. The Cond Nast contributor dabbles in fashion production, so she seemed the perfect person to see how beauty businesses in Iceland are using the nest of the countrys raw materials to their advantage (see p91), while catching a glimpse of the Northern Lights. Lucky!
