Editing process: I uploaded all the clips we had filmed onto the system and put them in order so that they were easy to find. This would make everything easier for me later on when editing.
Problems Occurred: Some of the clips I uploaded wouldnt play on QuickTime player so I deleted them and re-uploaded them which solved the problem.
Editing process: I started putting the clips in order on the timeline to make rough copy so that I had an idea of what the film would look like. I played with a few effects but ended up not using any of them.
Problems Occurred: In some of the shots I could see the tripod so I tried cropping it but it didnt work so I decided not to use the shots at all.
Editing process: After watching the draft I made before, I began making changes to the film even better. I added the flashback effect so that the audience were aware that it was a flash back and made a number of changes to how the film was put together.
Problems Occurred: Because it got dark early when filming, I had to do a lot of colour correction because the scenes looked like they were at completely different times. This meant that I had to match the colour of the previous shots which took quite a while.
Editing process: After putting all the clips together and forming a sequence, I then had to put sound on to make the film more tense and dramatic. I tried a number of different sounds but eventually found the ones that best suited the film.
Problems Occurred: The sound on some of the clips was bad as you could hear the wind blowing so I had to find ambient sound from the internet. Some of the dialogue was also terrible so I had to extract it from a different clip which I didnt use, and make sure it was in sync with the clip I placed it on.
Editing process: I had finished the video but then I realised it was too long so I had to remove bits that werent needed. Problems Occurred: When exporting the video, it took a very long time even after I had compressed it so I had export on a different format so that it was easier to put on the internet.
