Thank you for purchasing Styles Set #46 with 28 great new Requested 4 styles for Band-in-a-Box. This set features more great styles suggested by our customers in the PG Music Styles Wishlist forum. Requested styles include: a five instrument 9/8 Jig style, also called a Slip Jig which is similar to a 3/4 feel with a pulse of 3 beats of triplets per bar like 3/4; a four instrument 60s Rock - Medium-up tempo even 8ths feel style featuring the well-known guitar lick, a Fast Rock, even 8ths, 60s Rock & Roll style with five instruments; a loose Cajun Zydeco style with funky even 8ths that are slightly swung, and many more! Styles Set #46: Requested 4 also includes brand new fretboard styles that take advantage of the new Alternate Guitar Tunings feature available with Band-in-a-Box 2005, such as DADGAD, Drop D, Open G, Nashville, and more. Now it is easy to learn how to play any of your Band-in-a-Box songs using the alternate tunings. Some included styles are: a DADGAD - guitar tuning swing Country with two guitars both using DADGAD tuning, a smooth, slow, simple, 70s & 80s Pop ballad with swing feel style that employs DADGAD - high strung tunings. Other alternate tuning styles include: Drop D Hi - 2-beat Country, Double Drop D tuning, E, A, D - High Strung, Open G tuning - Country Folk and many more. Its easy to make your own styles for Band-in-a-Box as any style can be modified, altered and saved with the StyleMaker. If youre interested in editing or tweaking Styles or even making them from scratch, be sure to check out the Secrets of the StyleMaker video tutorial. One of the easiest ways to explore the new styles is from the select style window (press the STY button). If you scroll to near the end of the categories list on the left, you can select the Requested-4 46 category, then highlight the individual styles and press the Load song demo button. Its a good idea to un-check the Auto-change Melody instrument so that youll hear the correct demo melody instrument. You can also sort the styles by Styles Set number if you like. More detailed information about each style is available by pressing the Memo button of the Demo tune. The demo tunes for these styles follow the same naming convention as the styles themselves.
