Location / How to Obtain Default starting Job. Class Description The Freelancer is the jack of all trades and the master of none. Everything with Freelance is average.
The freelancer is the only class with the ability examine (Libra in old Final Fantasy games) that allows you to scan enemy HP and weakness. This is useful if you love collecting that data, and also handy in the Belphegor Nemesis fight. Other usefulness includes Mimic, which lets you copy the previous attack at no cost, and can be really powerful if done correctly.

Location / How to Obtain Defeat the boss duo, Barras Lehr and Holly Whyte. Class Description The Monk has the highest HP status in the game and is great all around class. It also one of the job class you obtain in the game. Abilities such as Qigong Wave and Pressure Point is great for fighting bosses. Also if you manage to maxed Monk job class, you can get Natural Talent, which can raise your attack power by double when equipped with nothing. (Attack power up to 650 to 780 at level 99) This is one of the best ways of obtaining 999999 damage when used with (Speculate, Critical Amp and Full Leverage during Bravely Second) in Summon Friend function.

Class Description The white mage is your main healing class, they are a highly recommended class for party safety and other support purposes. The white mage will learn some very useful ability mid way in their class. Angelic Ward is great for damage reduction, and when you obtain Spiritmaster support abilities, the white mage will truly shine as the ultimate healer.

Location / How to Obtain Defeat the boss, Ominas Crowe Class Description The Black Mage is the basic attack mage job class. It is a very useful job class in the beginning of the game, but as of late game you will find that a group of melee units are far superior then mages. You can deal far more damage without putting the same effort as magic. It is worth it to master this job class to obtain Pierce Magic Defense, and for killing the Nemesis bosses that are immune to physical attacks.

Location / How to Obtain Defeat the boss, Heinkel Class Description The Knight is the true tank class of the game. You use it to take hits and cover your allies. Knight is fairly useful early and quite useless mid game. They do become an excellent class once you have unlocked the Dual Shield skill which will make them an absolute tanking beast. Even end game bosses that does 9999 damage might be even survivable with dual shield skill.

Class Description Thief is an excellent starting class, it's the only class with the ability to steal which gives you access to some great equipment. The thief also carries high speed and dex status which makes them can output an insane amount of damage with the Angel Bow early game for the players that used the Norende reconstruction.

Works great as a secondary job command, but very medicore as a primary. Sword Magic can boost your damage tremendous and is great tool on fighting bosses (About 70% of the boss in this game have an elemental weakness.)

Location / How to Obtain Defeat the boss, Khamer VIII in Chapter 1 Sub Quest Class Description Time Mage is another mage job class. Time Magic is more of a late boomer, and you don't really get all the good spells until near the end such as Reraise and Meteor. These are great spells for end game. The Time Mage is worth mastering if you want the Hasten World ability. This ability will add extra BP per turn for enemies and yourself, this can prevent your party from ever going to the Negative BP state and if you truly know how to manipulate the Hasten World Mechanic you can be truly invincible. An example would be the High Jump method (using Valkyrie Job class and spam High Jump *Only works if speed is alot faster then opponent.

A great melee unit due to it's high dexterity status leading to great hit rate. It also has S rank aptitude on bows, which is great on fighting flying unit. However the Ranger becomes fairly useless mid game, due to not having any great abilities of it's own.
