Reports of Corporate Officers
The following reports were read and ordered placed on file:
Report of Superintendent of Streets on various sidewalk repairs.
Report of the Department of Finance, approved by the City Manager, recommend-
ing payment of claims.
The following resolutions were then read, each resolution acted upon separately,
and upon call of the roll passed by Ayes - Councilmen BeaCh, DePaoli, Haler, McCracken, Morcom
Youell, and President Slavich - 7. Noes - None. Absent - Councilmen Peters end Shattuck - 2.
Resolution No. 13286 C.M.S.
Approving allowing claims recommended to be paid by the Treasurer and
approved by the City Manager.
Resolution No. 13287 C.M.S.
Grpnting Police Officer Horace Clyde sick leave under the provisions of
Section 92 of the Charter with half pay for a period of thirty days com-
mencing December 27, 1943.
Resolution No. 13288 C.M.S.
Pwardlng license agreement for the rental of city owned property;
the City Attorney to prepare agreement therefor; directing the City
Manager to enter into said agreement; and directing the City Clerk to
post notice of same.
Resolution No. 13289 C.M.S.
Fixing the day, hour and plBce for the hearing and passing upon reporte of
the Superintendent of Streets, of the cost of repair of certain defective
conditions, and objections or protests thereto, end for the assessment
of the cost thereof against the property fronting thereon.

and operate a Spur Track upon, along and across 7th St. and 5th St.
Communication from Consolidated Sales end Equipment Co., asking that 13th St.
between Cypress and Kirkham Streets be abandoned and closed.
On motion the Council then adjourned.
