Lawyer

A lawyer represents clients during legal proceedings, whether that means a criminal trial or simply drawing up paperwork. Clients can range from individuals to companies and other organizations, even classes of people or the government. What a lawyer makes in terms of gross monthly pay depends on a variety of factors, including the industry in which she works.

Average Income
Lawyers made a mean annual wage of $130,490, or $62.74 an hour, as of May 2011, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics. This works out to $10,874 per month before taxes. The top 10 percent of lawyers made more than $15,599 per month on average, while the bottom 10 percent made $4,510 per month. Most lawyers fall into the bureau's legal services industry, where they could make an average of $137,170 per year, or $11,430 a month.

Best-Paying Industries
The best-paying industry for lawyers was petroleum manufacturing, in which they made $17,980 per month on average, according to the bureau. Other high-paying industries for attorneys included motor vehicle manufacturing and specialty hospitals. Lawyers in these jobs earned an average of $15,613 and $15,384 per month, respectively.

Doctors
As far as profession is concerned, doctors, not only in India, but also across the world form the top of the career pyramid. Doctors salary in India is regulated and revised at regular intervals by the Medical Council of India. The salary structure for a graduate or postgraduate doctor varies from one organization to another. A doctor working in a government hospital earns less than the one working in a corporate hospital. In general, physicians employed as medical officers receive an average annual salary ranging between Rs. 300,000 Rs. 450,000 whereas those employed in general practice centers earns around between Rs. 203,473 Rs. 874,896 per annum.

Physicians employed as healthcare consultants in hospitals and Medicare centers earn an annual income ranging from between Rs 360,000 Rs 960,000 per annum. An average yearly salary for a general surgeon in India averages between Rs 473,162 Rs 616,736, a medical pathologist receives between Rs 540,000 Rs 868,966 per year, an ophthalmologist earns an average salary ranging from Rs 491,318 Rs 854,586 per annum, Internist earns between Rs 182,078 Rs 1,519,877 per year and a family physician earns between Rs 230,000 Rs 1,350,000 per year. CA (chartered accountant) While the average for a new CA varies from firms and provinces, one recent salary survey indicates that a new CA earns about $80,000 a year, and a CA partner earns about $250,000, and a CA working as a CFO or CEO in the industry earns more. Then again, the experienced, likable and wellconnected CA working in biggest CA firms or multinational companies is at the high end of the salary range up to $500,000 a year. PS. CAs from Toronto are generally earn more than CAs from smaller Ontario cities, because of the cost of livings, and more biggest and deep pocket clients in Toronto. Those who have completed an MSc, MPhil or PhD may start in a higher salary range of 22,000-27,000+. With some experience salaries of 33,000 can be gained and with substantial experience and high levels of responsibility, salaries of 36,000-60,000+ can be achieved. Starting salaries are comparable between academia and industry, but private sector salaries at senior levels tend to be higher, particularly within the pharmaceutical and biotechnology areas.

Many researchers are employed on fixed-term contracts, associated with finite funding for particular projects. Most contracts last for several years. Permanent posts are highly sought after.

Teacher The role of teacher is often formal and ongoing, carried out at a school or other place of formal education. In many countries, a person who wishes to become a teacher must first obtain specified professional qualifications or credentials from a university or college. These professional qualifications may include the study of pedagogy, the science of teaching. Teachers, like other professionals, may have to continue their education after they qualify, a process known as continuing professional development. Teachers may use a lesson plan to facilitate student learning, providing a course of study which is called the curriculum. A teacher's role may vary among cultures. Teachers may provide instruction in literacy and numeracy, craftsmanship or vocational training, the arts,religion, civics, community roles, or life skills.

Primary teacher salaries


The current starting salary for a primary school teacher with a Bachelors teaching degree is $45,796. From June 2014 the entry salary will be $46,025. The starting salary for a primary school teacher with a Bachelors degree (not a teaching degree) and a recognised teaching qualification is $47,330. From June 2014 the entry salary will be $47,519.

Secondary teacher salaries


The current entry salary for a secondary school teacher who holds registration granted by NZ Teachers Council and a NZ Qualifications Framework (NZQF) Level 7 subject or specialist qualification (the qualification must have at least 72 credits at Level 7) and a recognised teaching qualification is $47,874.
