Terms and Conditions 1. Foundation and Undergraduate High Achievers Scholarship The student will need to maintain grade A which is 70% and above in order to maintain the merit scholarship to the following year.* 2. All scholarship is non-transferable to other Heriot-Watt University campuses. 3. Student only eligible for ONE scholarship award, from Heriot-Watt University Malaysia. 4. Students entering as credit transfer into Foundation at Semester 2; will receive scholarships at a pro-rated value. For example, HERIOT-WATT UNIVERSITY MALAYSIA INAUGURAL FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP awards will only receive the scholarship for Semester 2 and Semester 3 as a total of RM1,320 instead of the full RM2,000. 5. Any reference to As in the requirements includes A-, A, A+, A*. 6. Scholarships are open to all Malaysian and non-Malaysian students, based on equivalent qualifications and results. 7. The current years trial/ forecast results are accepted if the official results have not been released at the point of intake / scholarships closing date. However, the Scholarship will be conditionally awarded with the forecast results until the official/ actual results are produced. 8. The Heriot-Watt University Malaysia Foundation High Achievers Scholarship (HAS); Heriot-Watt University Malaysia Inaugural Foundation Scholarship; Heriot-Watt University Malaysia Undergraduate High Achievers Scholarship and the Heriot-Watt University Malaysia Inaugural Undergraduate Scholarships are automatically awarded to candidates meeting the criteria and does not require a separate scholarship application. 9. The % value of scholarships (when indicated as a % of fees) is calculated based on the original, full value of the tuition fee.
