These vacant staff quarters shall be leased out to Central Govt./Central PSU,State PSU. Broad terms and conditions shall be as follows:1. 2. Three month advance rented is to be deposited with BSNL.

3. The allotee has to pay electricity/water/service charges/ other tax from the date of possession. 4. The lease agreement is valid for 11 month only. Later, allottee will be responsible for its renewal. 5. The allottee has to take electricity connection on its own. 6. The allottee has to inform one month in advance while vacating the quarters and provide no-dues certificate from the department i.e. RSEB. 7. The allottee will not sublet the quarter or any portion thereof. 8. BSNL reserves right for getting the quarters vacated by giving one month prior notice. 9. The allottee will bear the lease registration charge as per local state laws, if any. 10. The allottee will have to pay any other charges as per BSNL policy effective from time to time. * For other station: - Shall be furnished on Demand.

FAQ:- Policy for utilization of vacant staff quarters in BSNL Q.1 I am an employee of Central Govt. Department (e.g. CPWD). Am I eligible for BSNL vacant staff Quarter under the policy? Answer. Yes you are eligible as per the policy. Q.2 I am an employee of CPSU (e.g. IOC/HPCL/NTPC). Am I eligible for BSNL vacant staff Quarter under the policy? Answer. Yes you are eligible as per the policy. Q.3 I am an employee of State Govt. Department (e.g. PHED). Am I eligible to hire BSNL vacant staff Quarter under the policy? Answer. No you are not eligible as per the policy only CPSU/Central govt./State PSU Employee are eligible for BSNL vacant staff Quarter. Q.4 What will be the rent per month for type_I to Type_V vacant staff Quarter under the policy? Answer. It is depending on classification of city in which quarters are situated for example the tentative rent per month for type_I to Type_V for some cities as under:a) 20% HRA (Like Jaipur, Jodhpur, Ajmer etc.) Type of qtrs I II III IV V Rent (Rs.)/month 3,408/5,592/9,970/12,569/IV 6,769/15,092/V 8,492/-

Q.5 Whether the quarter hired under the policy may be used as office purpose? Answer. No. The quarter can not be used for commercial purpose, it can be used for residential accommodation only. Q.6 Is any advance rental will be deposited by me for the purpose ? Answer. YES, (i) In case of CPSU/ State PSU Employee - Three months rent. (ii)In case central Govt. Employee One month rent. Q.7 If there is bulk demand from CPSU/Central Govt./ State PSU can the quarter may be hired under the policy ? Answer. YES, Subjected to availability on independent block of quarters. Q.8 Is water/electricity/services born by me? Answer. Yes, it shall be borne by the occupant. BSNL shall do only periodical maintenance as per prescribed norms. Q.9 Am I eligible for quarters in individual capacity? Answer. No, The lease agreement shall be entered through the controlling Deptt./Unit for 11 months lease subjected to renewal if required.
