Class: !th Ti#e: !"$ Te%t&oo': Sna(shot Lesson: Present Si#(le Tense T)(e o* lesson: revision and consolidation Skills: speaking, writing Teaching aims: - to allow students to practise speaking spontaneously and fluently about something that may provoke the use of words and phrases they have been learning recently - to develop students' ability to use language in real life situations - to develop stundents' speaking and reading skills - to develop students' listening-comprehension abilities - to revise and reinforce grammar concerning the Present Tense Teaching aids: worksheets, textbooks, blackboard idactic Strategies: Techni!ues: deductive application of rule, memori"ation, use words in sentences #the $rammar-Translation method%, self-correction gestures, peer connection& 'rgani"ation: frontal activities, group-work (ssumptions: Simple Tense )ost pupils are receptive and confident in using the Present

(nticipated problems: They may have problems with using the negative and interrogative forms& *orking in groups will make them a bit noisy& Stages -& *arm-up .+ Teacher+s activity Skills The teacher enters the Speaking classroom, greets the students, and asks them how they are, if there are any students missing& The teacher remembers the task for the day, and asks students to review it !uickly to make sure there were no problems with solving it at home& The teacher corrects the mistakes, if any& The teacher gives them the worksheets and they have to read it and fill in the verbs, in the Present Simple& Then the teacher asks the pupils to read the sentences to write the verbs on the blackboard& 2eading, writing Students+ activity (nswer to teacher+s greeting and !uestions and check their homework ,nteraction ,ndividual work

The teacher writes on the blackboard the adverbs that Simple Present is often used with: always, never, often, sometimes, every week and explains the students that Simple Present expresses

habitual, repetitive actions& The teacher writes on the blackboard a verb and asks the students to con5ugate the verb in the Simple Present #affirmative, negative, interrogative%& 6& Practice /3+ The teacher asks the students to fill in an exercise about a daily programme and then make five sentences about their day and tell their partner&
