POSITIONING USING ACTUATORS C-ARM EXAMINATION EASY HANDLING STABILITY AND SAFETY SCANNING USING A C-ARM
A series of examinations and procedures using a C-arm can be performed directly on the bed from the pelvic area up to the patients head. Adapting the bed for the C-arm removes the need to move the patient in a number of cases and therefore reduces physical exertion required of the nursing personnel. Adapting the bed for using the C-arm is already part of the basic equipment.

The Eleganza XC electrically adjustable bed may be used in hospital departments specialising in patient diagnosis using a C-arm. However, thanks to the high variability, the bed is appropriate for universal use at standard acute departments or intensive care units.

PLEASANT AND SAFE CONTROLS

The removable Supervisor central control ensures the adjustment and locking of all the beds accessible positions. The selected important positions can be adjusted with the aid of memory functions on the central control panel. The activating GO button on the controls guarantees increased protection against accidental positioning and subsequent injuries.

The possibility of scanning using a C-arm directly on the bed reduces the physical exertion of the personnel and increases the patients safety.

The patient can be scanned by a C-arm directly on the bed from the pelvic area to the head.

The Supervisor is equipped with 5 memories for quick adjustment to the positions: Trendelenburg, CPR, examination, mobilisation and cardiac chair.

The bed can be equipped with an X-ray scanning cassette holder for the backrest.

The central 5th castor ensures easy travel with the bed. One person can easily turn and steer the bed even in a narrow space.

An effective optional feature is the integrated weighing system for monitoring the patients absolute weight values and its changes in time.

The column construction guarantees high bed stability, a safe working load at 230 kg and excellent cleaning.

Thanks to the double auto-regression (18 cm) the pressure load on the tissue in the pelvic area is 40% less than on a standard bed.

PRACTICAL EQUIPMENT
The head-end with a constant height enables the stable xture of infusion stands. The integrated linen shelf or storage are for the central control panel is part of the beds standard equipment. The corner safety castor and bumpers on the siderails protect the bed and surrounding interior against damage. By extending and reducing the bed the lengthwise dimension of the mattress platform can be adjusted to the height of the patient or adjust the bed to small spaces such as elevators.
