Welcome to our Update Newsletter from Breast Cancer Care.

This newsletter aims to keep you up to date with all of our services available for breast cancer patients in the Lanarkshire area. All services are FREE. Please call 0141 353 8330 or email sco@breastcancercare.org.uk to book onto sessions.

Breast Cancer Care Scotland is workin to ether with N!S Lanarkshire to provide a pro ramme of information and support for people as the move forward and ad"ust to life after treatment for breast cancer. The four week pro ramme is led by a variety of healthcare professionals# is free to attend and is open to anyone who has had treatment for primary breast cancer within the last two years. We ran our pilot $ovin %orward pro ramme in !amilton in &anuary '()* which was very well received by both the participants and the staff involved. We are lookin forward to further courses in '()*# please tell patients about them. %or more confidence when choosin a bra# our Lin erie ,venin s at various hi h street stores provide an opportunity to be fitted by store staff and a chance to see how different lin erie looks on volunteer models who have all had breast cancer themselves. This is a monthly meet3up roup where people can chat and share e4periences with others with a secondary dia nosis. /t-s also a uni5ue opportunity to increase knowled e as we run lon er sessions with uest e4pert speakers every other month.
