Introduction
Global warming continues to threaten our future and how we consume the available natural resources. It is our duty as responsible citizens to investigate other options that will help to preserve Planet Earth for generations to come. Its time for you to learn more about this growing trend and how it can apply to your future!!

Task
In this WebQuest, you will assume the role of a newly hired member of Morgan Countys Sustainable Energy Taskforce. You will prepare recommendations for a renewable energy source that the county should consider and why.

Process
Steps in this WebQuest Activity 1.Remember that you have recently been hired to serve on Morgan County governments newly formed Sustainable Energy Taskforce. Select one of the following careers that could be represented on the task force. Using available resources, determine the skills and knowledge needed for to hold this position, as well as the educational requirements that qualified for this position. Take a quick detour and find at least five regional colleges and university that offer this course work, as well. When conducting research, it is important that you give credit to your sources. Citing your sources prevents you from committing plagiarism. There are several ways to cite your sources, however, one of the more popular ways, especially at the collegiate level is the APA format. A great resource for ensuring the proper citing of your sources is www.citationmachine.net. Once on this site, 1.Select APA from the column on the left. 2.The next page will ask what type of source your are citing. For this project, you are most likely going to select web page. 3.One this page, place as much as information as you can. Note all sites will provide with the information that you need to fully complete all of the blanks. 4.Hit Make Citation 5.Copy and paste the citation into your presentation.
