Teamwork Starting with my work as a freelancer, gradually growing within more structured design teams and later even running them I was able to understand the intricate dynamics of teamwork. In order to make my teams work, either as their leader or merely a simple part within their system, I have always relied on my belief that participatory systems are successful only when their members are creatively exploited according to their specific skills. Leadership A good leader is bound to have in equal measures comprehension as well as communication skills. In order is to perform the most basic of leadership tasks he must win his legitimacy from the group through fairness, by using the same quality references for all its members, yet understanding the strengths and weaknesses of each of its members. Instead of imposing his will alone he is should be able to inspire his team through the power of both his experience and innovative thinking Mediation Architects are mediators, and so are teachers. If architects mediate between the clients needs and the societies needs through the correct use of planning resources, politics and legislation not forgetting aesthetic and cultural motivations, so the teacher mediates between the world of reality and the world of ideas encouraging conceptual thinking Serving, for the last two years as dean of the First year students of the Timisoara Faculty of Architecture, I have greatly improved my organizational skills building on my former experience in leading multidisciplinary workshop teams and groups of students. I have conducted and/ or participated in several projects and studies that required careful planning of resources (of all types), respecting their timelines and budget.
