ConstructionwasinitiatedinAugust2012. InOctober2012, itwasdeterminedthatbedrockwas notlocatedatthedepthwhichitwaspresumedinthe GeotechnicalReportpreparedduringthedesign. WSP( formerlyGENIVAR) workingwithCity AdministrationandNACstaff, exploredseveral alternativesforchangesthatwererequiredto addressthegeotechnicalissuesthatwerepresented atthesite. InDecember2012, itwasdeterminedthatdynamic compaction,amethodforcompactingthenativesoils tosupportthestructure, wasthepreferredmethodto addressthegeotechnicalissues. ByMay2013,thedynamiccompactionofthesiteand theinstallationofthefoundationpilingsystemwas completedonsite. Progresscontinuesonthesitewithatargettoachieve substantialcompletionbySeptember2015.
