About the book

In this book, we would like to take a critical look at the basic

misconceptions which since the communist takeover in Serbia and
then in the rest of Yugoslavia in 19441945 are prevailing among the
Yugoslavs, primarily the Serbs about the roles of Josip Broz Tito, his
partisan movement and the Yugoslav Army in the Fatherland (the
Ravna Gora Movement) of general Dragoljub Drazha Mihailovich in the
World War II on the territory of Yugoslavia. These errors, ie. rather,
consciously created, supported and protected by force of lies, and
forgeries about the character, the actors and their roles during the
World War II (April 1941May 1945) in Yugoslavia by the communist
government and state's historians have as the ultimate political goal to
justify their primary military and political objective of fighting during
the war to take political power over the whole country by the means
of the armed (Bolshevik) revolution and the civil war started in July
1941 by Tito's partisans in the Western Serbia.
However, apart from their basic, communist-partisan
revolutionary struggle during the World War II for political power in
the country, the Yugoslav communists had their own ultimate
ideological-political goal to reorganize a post-war Yugoslavia on the
anti-Serbian bases in order to create optimal conditions for its
disappearance (in the 1990s) after which the sole losers are going to be
the Serbs and especially Serbia. Therefore, it is not surprising that the
whole policy of the Communist Party of yugoslavia before, during and
after the war was in a national-political sense, anti-Serbian and proCroatian. However, for this anti-Serbian and above all anti-Serbia's
policy Josip Broz Tito (half Slovene, half Croat) and his senior nonSerb personnel environment from the very beginning of the war until
its end succeeded to win primarily non-Serbia's Serbs living across the
River of Drina and in Montenegro alongside with non-Serbs. During
the whole war, Serbia remained a principal Yugoslav anti-communist
and royalist stronghold region and for that reason she has to be
mostly punished after the war by the new communist government.
A post-war anti-Serbian communist forgeries on the character of
the World War II in Yugoslavia, especially on the roles of warring
actors in it, became dogmatized and even protected by the letter of the
law as it was the case, for instance, with a lifelong president of
Yugoslavia (ie. Titoslavia) Josip Broz Tito whose personality,

revolutionary path and deeds have been unquestionable. The whole

narrative about the World War II in Yugoslavia was and still is
politicized and what is of the most importance even falsified in order to
present Tito's partisans firstly as some combatant Yugoslav patriots for
the country's liberation from the foreign conquerers and their
collaborators, and secondly as a single patriotic and anti-fascist forces.
At such a way official Yugoslav communist state's historiography (ie.
titography) gave a formal moral legitimacy to Tito's revolutionary
combatants to establish and keep (totalitarian one party) government
after the war. However, Tito's partisans have not been the Yugoslav
patriots, anti-fascist combatants or war heroes as they have been
constantly collaborating with the Croat nazi ustashi forces and even
with the Germans during the war. We have to keep in mind that the
ustashi detachments of the Croat fhrer Ande Pavelich and the
partisan forces of another Croat Josip Broz Tito were in fact of the
same Croat army during the war and acting primarily against the
Serbs and their national interests.
With the aim of forging a real and true history of the Yugoslavs
in the World War II Broz's titography used crudest means such as
putting false documents in the archives, removing authentic
documents from the archives, changing the content of the original
documents, making staged photographs (photoshoping), forcing the
testimonies of false witnesses during the judicial processes, making a
distortion of statistics and other factual data, making the "partisan"
war films based on the falsification of the actual state of affairs, not
allowing the translation of books and other professional literature or
publishing documents from abroad in which the participants in the
events were portrayed in a completely different light than by
titography, etc.
In this book we critically reviewed the most important, ie. basic,
errors, falsifications and lies by titography about the World War II in
Yugoslavia which were incorporated in the educational system of the
country and even today in the successor states of the ex-Yugoslavia.
These lies were also deliberately infiltrated into the mass-media
information system in order to create exactly certain ideologicalpolitical type of the Yugoslav citizens with the aim of developing a
collective antipathy towards Serbia and the royalist-oriented Serbs in
Yugoslavia. In this way they indirectly evolved and sympathy to all
non-Serbs and other Yugoslavs and Yugoslav republics, which was for
the communist leadership of Titoslavia of the crucial importance for
the coming time of dissolution of the common country.

The Yugoslavs and especially the Serbs for 70 years know the
narrative of the World War II based on communist titographic quasihistoriography, which was and still is politically and even ethnically
colored and from the factual standpoint simply forged. Titography, as
primarily anti-Serbian history, but not the scientific historiography,
had the main political and ideological task of consciously distorting
the facts about the World War II on the territory of the former
Yugoslavia. To the titographic historical forgeries was primarily
exposed the Yugoslav Army in the Fatherland during the war under
the military leadership of general Mihailovich as it was the only real
enemy to Broz's partisans on their way to the conquest of political
power in Belgrade, Serbia and whole Yugoslavia.
However, what we tried to present in this book, the essence of
the entire period of the World War II in Yugoslavia was the fact that
two Croatian military movements the nazi ustashi and the
communist partisans worked together to destroy the Yugoslav Army in
the Fatherland and to kill as many as Serbian civilians with the
crucial support by the British anti-Serbian and anti-Russian
diplomacy. At the end of the war the Serbs and Serbia turned out as
the only real losers, and the Croats as the biggest winners.
